Intensive Out Patient Program

The River Source IOP

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a kind of treatment service and support program used primarily to treat chemical dependency that operates on a small scale and does not require the intensive residential services offered by our larger, more comprehensive treatment facilities. The River Source IOP program offers group and individual services of 9 - 12 hours a week. IOP allows the individual to be able to participate in their daily affairs, such as work, and then participate in treatment at the end of the day.

Sessions With Staff Include Topics Like...

Self-esteem, relationship and family issues, cultivation confidence, community participation, work related issues, stress management, anxiety and other pertinent issues. We require active participation in 12-step programs in addition to the IOP participation. IOP can be more effective than individual therapy for chemical dependency. We are committed to changing the way the world views addiction. It is no longer a hidden and shameful disease of the stereotypical "addict" but rather an imbalance of ones mind, body and spirit. The River Source's philosophy is that recovery from addiction is a life long process and the focus is on healing the whole person rather than just the symptoms of the disease.

By helping the addict one day at a time we are helping them build a bridge to a life worth living. Treating the body, mind and spirit enhances an individuals quality of life. Applying principals such as honesty, open-mindedness and willingness, creates a higher rate of success in recovery. Treatment that works 100% of the time is related to the time spent working towards it!

Components Of Our IOP Program

The River Source is a holistic substance abuse treatment program, which simply means we focus on all aspects of recovery - mind, body and spirit.

Professional Pre-Assessments: Will ensure that we are a good fit for your needs and wants

Treatment Plan: We provide a combination of IOP education and naturopathic methods.

Urine Drug Screen and Breathalyzer Testing: Done once a week.

Vitamin IV Therapy: Once a week with high magnesium, high B and C complex, B5, B6, B12, calcium and zinc individually made for each persons specific needs.

Acupuncture and Sauna Treatments: Once a week can help to detoxify by releasing toxins from the body.
