Our Aftercare Program is a comprehensive and holistic 24/7 recovery support program of therapist-guided sessions, small group interaction, early detection of relapse behavior and intense accountability and monitoring for your loved ones in the critical and formative first year after rehabilitation. We provide:

In the first three months, 28 intense, therapist-lead on-line group sessions take place. These sessions are an hour or more. A small number of people attend, wherever in the world they may be. The same therapists that clients fostered their relationships at The River Source lead these on-line sessions.

These small groups (which include trusted friends from the rehabilitation period) offer continuity and a more gentle immersion into daily life in the “real world” as they grow in their sobriety. The meeting topics focus on issues specifically associated with sobriety in daily life. Weekly, slightly larger “check in” group meetings take place for the duration of the year.

Contact: Personal one-on-one phone visits once weekly, throughout the year. These calls are designed to hold client accountable to his/her discharge plan.

Contact: Support Team (which is parents, grandparents, spouse, sponsor, therapist, employer, anyone with which we have legal consent) these contacts occur weekly and whenever special attention is needed.

Contact: Probation officers, courts and all overseeing parties via electronic, telephonic and face to face as well as provide written status/progress reports throughout the duration of the year.

We facilitate toxicology screens on a weekly basis for the first three months, and then random test, twice a month for the next three months followed by one random test a month for the final six months. More intense screening and 24 hour monitoring is available.

Our (TBD) staff is available to all appropriate parties to maximize communication and awareness of the client’s progress. Group sessions are currently held on Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm. Other group days and times (TBD)

Costs: $6000 per client for a 12 month period, $3600 per client for a 6 month period, or $2000 per client for services for a 3 month period.
