Phillip Westbrooks of The River Source Team
After helping thousands of patients over the last 12 years, it is a great honor to be the Chief Operating Officer at The River Source. It is my job to manage and oversee the daily operations of the facility to ensure that we provide the best quality of service to our patients, their families and their loved ones. I strive to provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment where patients can learn to live a life free of substance dependency. With our employees, I work to empower them with the tools they need to serve our patients with the highest value of care. Together, we work to share the stories and successes that we have had over the years with numerous patients.
To me, the most rewarding part about working at The River Source is seeing the amazing transformation our patients make over their course of treatment. I find it amazing to see individuals who start the program at a low point in their life, become healthy, happy, and living a life free of dependency. It is also gratifying to see the patients share this new life with their families, loved ones, and the community.
I have a strong connection with addiction treatment because I have had family members with addiction problems, and unfortunately lost a close family member due to it; that impacted my life forever. Having to help them with their substance dependencies grew my passion for helping people overcome addiction and live a healthy life filled with happiness.

I am native to Arizona and enjoy eating healthy food, fitness, movies, and especially spending time with my son, family, and friends. I enjoy watching sports, specifically the Cardinals, Suns, Diamondbacks, Coyotes, and the rest of the Arizona teams. Also, in my spare time I love to read inspirational books and watch comedy movies. I have traveled to many different countries and appreciate the different cultures and architect they have to offer. My favorite food is Asian cuisine, and I really like dessert, so I have to manage my sweet tooth!
