Before I came to River Source my life was in shambles, and I was headed for shackles or worse. I was addicted to Heroin and Cocaine, but after about a week here it was easy to see that I was an alcoholic and addict. I took a leap of faith and started working the steps, and now 45 days later I have been prepared with real world tools that apply to my life on a daily basis. By no means was it an easy task, and by no I means am I finished working, but the reward of establishing a spiritual connection with a God of my own understanding is unparalleled. I love being sober now, and I recommend this program to anyone who is trying to get off drugs or alcohol. The staff here have real world experience with this disease of addiction, and supported me every step of the way. I can honestly say it would be hard to thank River Source and its entire staff enough. I had fun here, I got sober here, and I learned how to live here. I also learned how to forgive3 myself and all of those who had harmed me in the past, how to let go of resentment and fear, and how to make amends to people I had affected negatively in the past. Tomorrow i9 am headed back to Denver with a real chance for a beautiful future, and I couldn’t be happier. The friendships I made here are more powerful that any I had before I came. Thank you River Source.
