The River Source is committed to educating people about substance abuse and its impact on individuals, families, communities, workplaces, and society at large. We provide integrative treatment options for individuals who suffer from substance abuse, as well as co-occurring conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders or personality disorders. We also know how to work closely with the family unit, which is especially beneficial for recovering addicts and alcoholics in codependent relationships or experiencing marital/family distress.
As you explore our website, we hope that you find the answers, support, and guidance that you are looking for. Addiction is a powerful, complex, and debilitating disease, but it is not a death sentence. Recovery is a lifelong process that requires constant care and nurturing, but this is no different than any other large life project such as raising children or growing a career.

The River Source offers a steady selection of news articles to keep our patients and families updated on what’s going on in the recovery community. Like other forms of science and medicine, recovery is always evolving with new research, treatment options, and relapse risk prevention. Former patients will also find support in our news articles as they go through the various stages of recovery.

Please print off our brochures and give them to an individual or family in need of addiction support.
The River Source hosts several meetings each month for recovering addicts and alcoholics, their families and community members, in general. All meetings are open to the public. We do specify the type of meeting we are holding at our location (AA, NA, HA or CMA) as well as the time and date. Please visit our meeting list for an updated list of dates and times.
When dealing with an addiction, the best thing you can do for yourself and your family is to get educated. Addiction is not a character flaw or a choice. It’s not something that can be given up with strength and courage. It’s a disease that may require intensive therapy and lifestyle changes. We encourage all families to educate themselves and others on the nature of addiction so that they may be the best supporters possible in their loved one’s recovery.
